Disney recognizes US military personnel through their Armed Forces Military Salute by providing discounted park tickets and hotel stays. The Disney World military ticket discount for 2023 were recently announced. Eligible U.S. Military members can purchase their discounted tickets or hotel stays for the period January 1, 2023 – December 15, 2023. Tickets go on sale November 16, 2022.
Ticket Offers
Tickets can be purchased for 4 or 5 days during 2023. Eligible individuals can purchase the tickets through December 11, 2023. Below is the listing of ticket options and prices.
5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket:
- With the Park Hopper Option: $369 plus tax
- With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $399 plus tax
4-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket:
- With the Park Hopper Option: $349 plus tax
- With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $379 plus tax
When purchasing your tickets, you can also purchase Memory Maker for your trip for only $98 (over 50% off). Genie+ is only for purchase separately the day of intended use.
Ticket Blackout Dates
Unlike previous years, there will be blackout dates in 2023 for Disney World military ticket usage. As it stands now, there are only two periods for blackout dates.
- April 1, 2023 – April 15, 2023
- November 19, 2023 – November 25, 2023
At this time there is no expectation for there to be more added. However, Disney does reserve the right to make changes to the Military Salute Ticket at any time.
Hotels
Discounted military rates are available at select Walt Disney World Resorts during most nights in 2023. Rooms must be booked by December 15th, 2023. The required length of stay is 1-14 nights, which should work for the vast majority of guests.
There are limited rooms and hotels that this discount applies to. I recommend reaching out to Disney to see what is available, to ensure the room will match your needs before planning and booking your trip.
