My Top 5 Disneyland Snacks

Micky Mouse Pretzel Disneyland

One of the best parts about a Disney trip is the food. There are so many different places to eat with a large variety in the type of cuisine. While the restaurants serve great meals, the snacks are something else. I would gladly snack on Disney themed treats all day long. While there are so many amazing ones, below I list the snacks I will get every single time I return to Disneyland.

  1. Mickey Pretzel

I LOVE soft pretzels. Appetizer at a restaurant, getting it. At a sports event that has it? You betcha I am getting one. Mickey Mouse shaped? Even better! Every Disney trip I go on I make sure I get at least one. Are they the very best out there, no, but they are delicious and at some of the snack carts throughout Disneyland you can even get cheese sauce to dip them in.

  1. Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich

Everything’s better when it is Mickey shaped. This is true once again for the ice cream sandwich. It is absolutely delicious, and I swear it is better than any ice cream sandwich you can get from the grocery store. This is the one snack or treat that I make sure to get every single day of my trip. If you are gluten free or just don’t like ice cream sandwiches the Mickey ice cream bars are also a good choice.

  1. Mickey Beignets

I have tried a lot of beignets in my life, and after having some at the iconic Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans none have compared. On my last trip to Disneyland, my best friend and I bought some at the Mint Julep Bar (located in New Orleans Square across from the entrance to the Haunted Mansion) and let me tell you they were amazing! Between the two of us we split a 6 pack, but I could have easily eaten them all by myself. This is a treat that I will definitely be getting the next time I go to Disneyland.

  1. Large Mickey Mouse Doughnut Cookie

While it may seem like a regular sugar cookie, the Mickey Mouse doughnut cookie was a good sugar cookie. They had a variety of cookies to choose from, but the doughnut one had sprinkles on it which is why I went for it. The cookie is pretty large, so it is a good item to split if you just want a small snack.

  1. Mickey’s Kitchen Sink Sundae

As you can see, there is clearly a Mickey theme here. But in this case, this treat is not actually Mickey Shaped. Rather, it is a large ice cream sundae in a ‘kitchen sink’ designed to look like Mickey (they also had a Minnie Mouse version). The sundae was massive, including 4 scoops of ice cream, lots of whip cream, and toppings. The best part though? The ice cream was actually in a little plastic tray that popped right out so I didn’t need to worry about cleaning the sink before putting it in my park bag to take home as a souvenir. Now the sink is not always available, but there is always some sort of souvenir sundae holder available.

*Shout out to my best friend for taking these lovely photos of her eating the snacks.
